  25. Now it seems easier to understand that the "Leader" makes
  26. to disappear the map because Betty, despite all mnemonic aids
  27. cannot show where the Earth is. Considering the details of our
  28. solar system which are in the map, Betty's astronomical
  29. understanding surely cannot cope with. The "leader" has to
  30. recognize that it is senseless to show Betty a completely alien
  31. solar system with all its specialities if she cannot recognize
  32. elementary things out of her own system.

  34. Indeed it is difficult for the unaided eye to imagine
  35. suddenly to look down upon our planetary system from somewhere
  36. behind Saturn. In this context Betty's words from the television
  37. program are interesting when she said: "...and it was almost it
  38. was all realistic - it was almost like looking at the sky and
  39. even some of the objects seemed to be slowly moving..." Today we
  40. can imagine a computerized technology that is able to mix
  41. live-recordings of a video camera with some graphics and to
  42. project this combination as a hologram into a room. In this
  43. context one is tempted to speculate if  perhaps this really was
  44. "live" what Betty saw. This would mean that the spaceship had
  45. ascended for some time - something that is well known from other
  46. abductions -  but in the story there are no hints for such a
  47. lift-off at all.

  49. Inside the spaceship Betty Hill looks at a map where our
  50. solar system is shown around the time of the abduction, just
  51. like an actual report of the current mission of the UFOnauts.
  52. All places of activities or interest are connected with lines.
  53. At first glance, it nearly seems as if Betty in her sketch
  54. intimatedly had drawn the shadow part of the planets because the
  55. sunlight comes from the middle of the sketch to the surface of
  56. the planets: in the map version shown in the television program
  57. "Contact UFO - Alien Abduction", the "band" across the more
  58. distant large circle seems to be somewhat broader and double
  59. just as the equatorial bands on Jupiter. Just below of the
  60. foremost big circle there is a small half-ring slightly
  61. intimated which nearly looks as a segment of Saturn's ring. But
  62. because we haven't had  Betty's original sketch to examine it
  63. can be that except the bands all other effects within the two
  64. big circles were caused by Betty's scrawling way of drawing.
  65.  
  66. Perhaps the two giant planets are indeed the endpoint of a
  67. "trade route", as the "leader" named it, right into our solar
  68. system when they both hover in this special alignment
  69. (conjunction) in the same space sector. Was it by accident that
  70. the UFO approached the Hills out of the direction
  71. Jupiter/Saturn? Perhaps the two planets together form a kind of
  72. "gate" to higher dimensions and are starting points for jumps
  73. into space where we have no knowledge of so far.

  75. All the other connection lines bear an inner logic. To fly
  76. to Pallas at the time the Hills were abducted is the obvious
  77. thing to do because the second largest asteroid is arrived on
  78. the course of its eccentric orbit just in the plane of ecliptic
  79. and even more it is not far away from Jupiter. What an ideal
  80. encounter.

  82. From Earth there are no further expedition lines which
  83. means the planets self is the special area of interest only.
  84. With that our planet has a special status in the Hill's pattern
  85. of solid lines. The lines to Mercury and past it could easily be
  86. named "iron-ore-route" because it started with Mercury, goes
  87. with a slight curve round the Sun to  Venus, from there to the
  88. asteroid Pretoria and Daphne to stop at ferrugiuous Psyche. On
  89. this  route it becomes clear that it is not an unmanipulated
  90. view of the solar system because the proportions  sun/planets
  91. are changed in favour of the  latter.

  93. The strong solid  line from Jupiter to Mars, aside from
  94. perspective enlargement or Betty's lack of drawing could be a
  95. sign of frequent visits or great importance of Mars for the
  96. UFOnauts. We humans have just started to unravel the enigmas of
  97. our neighbour planet and perhaps we shall know in the next years
  98. whether our speculations about the strong connection lines to
  99. Mars were justified or not. One could accept similar reasons for
  100. the expedition lines to Europa, Interamnia and to Pallas. The
  101. theory to place artificial probes in a solar system with
  102. interesting developments or to install hidden observatory
  103. stations on solid bodies that circle these systems  is not new.
  104.  
  105. A well known scientist called the opinion '"chauvinistic"
  106. that 'life elsewhere must be similar in general to ours' [10].
  107. Another pillar of this way of thinking was the claim of the
  108. unsurmountability of the immense distances in "reasonable" parts
  109. of time with "conventional" space flight facilities.
  110.  
  111. We do not share these too pessimistic opinions which are
  112. unnecessarily erected barriers that block the views and
  113. restrict the direction of mental movement.
  114.  
  115. We cannot leave such statements unanswered, at least we
  116. have to add: as far as we know. From our own past of the very
  117. last centuries we know about the enormous changes the scientific
  118. world views were subjected to. We don't know anything about
  119. extraterrestrial life except from the UFO phenomenon, the
  120. stone-aged myths of past cultures or the  telling of so many
  121. people who try in an unconventional way - according to the
  122. ruling paradigmas of our present science - to get into the right
  123. mood for the cosmic vibrations they claim to have felt.
  124. "Somebody" created us to his image. It is not "chauvinistic" at
  125. all to ask if "Somebody" has done this somewhere else.
  126.  
  127. We have discovered that the pattern of Betty Hill's map
  128. corresponds to the actual constellation of the  solar system at
  129. that time. The UFOnauts who abducted Betty and Barney Hill have
  130. proved an interest in organic and inorganic substances and
  131. bodies here in our solar system. They themselves are
  132. substantially tangible, they need flying equipment and  they
  133. research a solar system in a way that makes sense.  This all is
  134. not "alien" to us. Surely it would be a great, if not the
  135. greatest shock for those who rule the world in the momentary way
  136. that there is extraterrestrial life that is, apart of hardly
  137. imaginable advanced technology and consciousness, more similar
  138. to us than we will accept at this  time - or are allowed to.

  144. they cannot be transmitted via e-mail. It is essential for the
  145. unmderstanding to look at the sketches drawn by Betty Hill, Mrs.
  146. Fish. If you can, please copy the all the sketches from Fuller's
  147. book, from the MUFON Proceedings and look for a copy of
  148. ASTRONOMY magazine. You  should also switch on your computer
  149. and, if available, run the "Dance of the  Planets" program. We
  150. would like to stress that we do not  advertise  for this program
  151. here, but it was the one we used for our investigations. If you
  152. do, please  create a "users database" with the planets of our
  153. system and the asteroids from the program's  own database as we
  154. have described in the text and look for the amazing patterns.
